Pack Your Bags

Tuesday evening I was trying to write a plan of action for thinking for the WWMA course I am taking.  I have time set aside to think and mediate about taking my dream into my destination.  This weekend I planned to be brainstorming for funds for school and books.  God told me to take a creative writing course at the local community college (RCC) and I was in the planning stages of making that happen.

Today on the radio I heard a story of a girl whose parents told her she couldn't continue with college due to them not being able to pay for it.  In tears the girl called her aunt.  Her aunt asked her if she knew if God wanted her to go to college, and the girl said, "Yes I feel this is what God wants me to do."  Her aunt told her, "If going to college is what God told you to do then go pack your bags."  The girl packed her luggage and car to the max to head back to college.  Her parents asked her aunt why she told the girl to pack her bags that they didn't have the money to pay for it.  The Aunt responded, if God told her to go to college, then He has a plan for her to go, He will provide.  Two days later a scholarship that she thought she lost out on, came through - not only for the rest of this year, but for the next two years.  Good thing she packed her bags!!

As I was listening to this story I remember the plan to brainstorm for the class(es) that God wants me to take.

I heard in my spirit, "When are you going to trust me?"
I quickly repented, "Sorry God, I keep forgetting you are in control.  Please forgive me."

I immediately confessed this to my spiritual mother.  I told her the above story stating that God is the one who told me to start taking classes so I better pack my bags (Figuratively speaking).  I also told her that I would call RCC and check on getting into the next semester writing class.

Since this was before 8:00 am I headed for their website.  I have to confess that I thought I had been all over the RCC site however this morning was like my first time there.  Finding new links, it was amazing.

After telling my Spiritual mother that I was packing my bags, I found where to register as a first time student, then I found where I can take classes for fun and I found a couple writing classes that I can take FOR FUN - which is what I have been trying to find for the last year but for some reason couldn't find them.  The class I want is only $69?!?!

In the matter of moments I went from trying to raise $379 for tuition plus $100 for a book and lab fees...to only needing $69....<tears>

The clock struck 8:00 am and I was on the phone asking about the writing class trying to find out information for the next semester since this semester started this past Monday.  I was being asked you know that class is still open if you want in it.  What?!?!  I can still get in?!?!

Yes, this is God.  Two hours earlier I was trying to figure out where I would get the money from.  Now I was enrolled in RCC, had a student number, my class was paid for and I start on Monday.

The registration lady was so nice she called me back to give me the instructors email address to get the first assignment so I can have it ready to turn in on Monday.

Can you say, WOW?!?!  I am on my way...good thing my bags are packed.

God is so good, I love HIM!!!!

Until next time, God Bless!
